Preview of upcoming Evidence. Charles A. Cannon Memorial

Preview of upcoming Evidence.

…..

As our readers know, over the weekend we investigated this well known location.  We ended up with hours of video, dozens of pictures and hours of audio.  While we will be presenting this evidence in the next coming days, I thought I would give you all a sort of preview of what we have found so far by reviewing the evidence that we collected.

First, I think it is vital that I state that we have found a very real connection between the paranormal activity and the building itself.  After reviewing 45 minutes of audio over the weekend and looking back at our findings from previous investigations of this location, 95% of our experiences and EVP’s have come from discussions and conversations that are taking place concerning the building itself.

This is very interesting indeed and will certainly be the focus of our next investigation, if in fact, it does take place of this hospital.

Second, I think it is also vital to anyone that is thinking about investigating this location to heed this warning.  Ok, is it a warning really?  Honestly, I am not sure.  I do want all of you understand clearly, we are not sure what we are dealing with at this hospital.  While we have not been threatened in anyway, the activity and the evidence that we have received clearly shows that the spirits we have been experiencing, are in fact intelligent.  This is what they call an intelligent haunting.

The EVP’s that we have collected and reviewed answer our questions, they tell us to do things, and they tell us how they feel about the location itself.

This is important!  This is very important!

With any intelligent haunting, you never know how the spirit(s) will react to your presence.  They know that you are there, they at times follow you and interact with the surroundings.  All I can say is, be very careful!

…..

This is just a preview of what is coming up this week.

Note: These EVP’s will be posted along side of the evidence and full details of the investigation at a later date.

Someone takes some really good photos. Hats off. Is that Ira?

Speaking of Ira, I cannot forget listening to that audio from Cannon when [a spirit] enunciated his name!

Glad to see you all posting again. Google bots are promptly picking it up, and sent me an alert per my "boone, nc" alert request.

Looking forward to more!

This sounds very interesting, I have wanted to investigate that hospital for a long time. Thanks for the warning, but I ask that you and your team also be careful. I look forward to hearing more. I am still interested in becoming a member just call or email me if you wish to set up an interview. Thanks.

Michelle,

I hope you are doing great. I remember reviewing the audio from that visit to the abandoned hospital. I didn't believe what I was hearing and to be honest it still blows my mind now.

What is funny about that EVP sweep is that most of the time our EVP's came from our comments about the building. That time it was completely unrelated to the property.

Chris L. (A member of BNCGHA) and I were simply hanging out in the nursing station. I was sitting against one wall on a counter and chris was sitting on a counter across from me. We were talking about this and that and exchanging questions. Never did he say my name. There was never any reason to. Most of our experiences there have come from EVP's, not from seeing things first hand. So that was especially odd.

We are looking forward to sharing more investigations. If you have any suggestions please send them on!

Chris,

the hospital is indeed incredible. It really has to be experienced. Imagine walking into a place with so much history. It is now aging, falling apart, and lifeless. Every room is littered with old utensils, checklists, records, and destruction. Team all of this up with the fact that it is completely pitch black and the sheer size and atmosphere is intimidating.

If you are given the chance to go I would probably do it. Here is some advice:

Strength in numbers- The building has been robbed of copper. You can see from the pictures that really nothing is safe. Protect yourself with party members.

Use low light flashlights- Trespassing is a crime. You do not want to be arrested.

Brother, I could go on and on. Let us know if you have any questions :)

If you have any suggestions please submit them. We are always looking for new places to investigate. If you have something promising let us know and we will involve you in the investigation.

I have personally been in the hospital and had some strange things happen to me. Me and a few friends went to the hospital one night a few months ago. the four of us were walking around the hospital. While on the second or third floor we heard a loud noise like someone had slammed a door or stomped really hard on the floor above us. the four of us were together so we knew that it hadnt been any of us making the noises. At first we all thought it was the cops or someone else in the hospital, so we went into a bathroom that we were right next to and closed the door, after standing in the bathroom for about ten to fifteen minutes, We realized that there was absolutely no one in the building but us. There was no wind and with us talking and with our flashlights we were pretty sure that it wasnt an animal either, plus it would have had to have been a rather large animal to have made such a loud noise like that.
just a little experience i thought i would share.
Thanks!
